My husband and I live in Missoula,MT. We visited my family in Scott, La and wanted my husband (native Montanan) to taste beignets for the first time. I was really impressed when I walked in the Depot. The atmosphere is adorable and beignets are AWESOME! Thank you for turning the old feed store into a super cute memorabilia of the... More

We were at The Coffee Depot on a Saturday late morning. We had beignet strips (will get the "bites" next time), a tasty burger, and some rich, dark roast coffee. The place was very interesting, with the decor made up of old train depot relics from the town and building's beginings many decades ago. Very family friendly on a Saturday... More

This is a very cute place. I went with a friend for coffee and breakfast. The food was good but, the service was not very good. Our waitress only came to the table 3 times within an hour. I don't advise you go here if you are in a hurry. Maybe we just had bad luck with our waitress....still a... More

This place is the old Scott train depot. They kept with the theme. Have lots of train memorabilia. The food is very tasty and the Beignets are very good not Cafe Du Monde, but very tasty and the Beignets sticks are very good. Also the chicken and sausage gumbo is fantastic.

I love The Coffee Depot in Scott. Good people, great service, fun atmosphere and a place to meet and visit without stress. Great place to start your day or go after church. I especially like to see and hear local bands. I love the grits more than anything, but they offer tons more! I just love to start the day... More

I love to go out for breakfast on the weekends, and The Depot is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere and service are great. The food is not only good, but it's also very reasonably priced. The beignets are every bit as good as Cafe du Monde, and yes I have eaten at Cafe du... More

A wonderful renovated former feed store located near the rail road in Scot, Louisiana close to Highway 90 and the Catholic Church. The interior reminds one of a sky resort lodge, high beams with metal siding like in the ole days. Checkered table cloth, wonderful personal designed chairs and "cheap" prices. A couple owns the restaurant and the Cajun accents... More

I am pretty sure this is where we had breakfast and the "bites" were awesome! Sugar high!!! If I could spell the word for french donuts, I'd have put that in the review!!!

This is an old train depot that has been renovated to prestine condition. You can feel the history when u walk in. The smell of cypress from all of the woodwork is very refreshing. The service and food was excellent and the prices are very very reasonable. The atmosphere is not of a large restaurant chain but if a nice... More

Started out with good hot food but the quality has gone down hill since it opened. Food served cold and or pre-cooked doesn't get it. Possibily because the management has left the kitchen,or better management is needed because business has increased. Orders use to be placed at the counter now it's at your table. So now you have to add... More
