The food was very good and so was the service. The atmosphere was alright and the location was near my home.

We ate at Louisiana Lagniappe Saturday nigh for my son's graduation dinner. A friend on mine who lives in Baton Rouge recommended the restaurant. We arrived at 7:00 pm after the graduation ceremony and was seated promptly. The service staff was comprised of mostly college age employees and were extremely polite and ready to provide a level service that I... More

One of Baton Rouges' finest dining experiences. It's a bit pricey, but totally worth it. Don't let the strip-mall like location fool you. It's a gem.

In town for business workshop, a group of us took the easy stroll from Renaisssance to LL. Surprisingly, with our group of 7 and the restaurant crowded, we were seated immediately. So much to choose from (plus An additional crawfish menu since they are in season. I had the fish papillote (fish in paper whic had crabmeat and crawfish Garlic... More

La Lagniappe is one of my most favorite restaurants. I frequent this restaurant often and the food is excellent quality and the service is superb - always. The off-the-menu specials keep the regular menu from getting too routine. Get there early. The place is always packed.

We visited for the first time this week and found the food and service to be excellent. Nice variety of items on the menu. A fish dish and a beef dish were ordered and both were excellent. Wonderful service. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu items and numerous specials offered. Be aware that no reservations are... More

Six family members ate at Louisiana Lagniappe in early March, 2013. The food was fabulous. Since it was crawfish season, I had etouffe, even though I make it and am invariably disappointed at restaurants. I was not disappointed this time. It was almost as good as mine and I ate every bit of it. The people who ate fish loved... More
