This restaurant has the best atmoshere in Baton Rouge. My wife and I enjoyed the whole experience. The food was great along with the service. We ate off the early dining menu and it was a great value. The seafood crepes tasted wonderful, as did the soups and bread. We left very contented with our meal. We will definately return! More

Hands down the best intimate dinning experience in Baton Rouge. Great bread and soups. After I finished my wild boar, I helped my wife finish her "John's Favorite" (grilled 4 oz filet with jumbo lump crap in a puffed pastry. I thought I might die; then they brought out the Creme Catalane. It is not very often that you smile... More

I cannot say enough about this place. Another foody friend of mine and I had lunch here one day. We were so curious about many of the combinations so we ordered apps, entrees, drinks and desserts. Two of everything. We agreed hands down that it was all so incredible. Like a painting being splashed across your taste buds! More

This is a real French restaurant with white table cloths, rich sauces and fancy desserts. I brought my boyfriend there for his birthday and was so impressed. It's quite expensive, but that's to be expected in a place like this. My only negative was the chocolate souffle. It wasn't as chocolaty as I'd have liked. Next time I will get... More

This is French that is flawlessly executed! All the traditional favorites are here and they do a very nice jobs with a variety of beef filet preparations. Beautiful house settings with great service and a super quaint feel. This is family run by a husband/chef and waitress/wife. They are a treat! More

I have heard about this restaurant for years, but never went. A relative from out of town wanted to go here based on a review in a local paper. I am so glad that we did. The atmosphere is quiet and subdued. It is an older house/cottage that was remodeled and has a lot of charm. The food was excellent.... More

We just had a wonderful dinner at the Maison Lacur restaurant. We tend to stay away from "chain restaurants" and like to enjoy unique locations and menus. This restaurant certainly proved to be a charming restaurant with French paintiings nd pictures in the beautiful old house with fireplaces and painted wooden rooms. The setting was only surpased by the food.... More

Step into a cozy, warm atmosphere (it's actually cold in La. now) and start w/ a special M.L. appertif while you try to make up your mind. We skipped the appetizer and actually glad as we had plenty to eat. The brie soup w/ crab & broccoli was delicious. Unknown, a small house salad comes w/ entree and on the... More

This place is lovely. The atmosphere is relaxing and quaint. The food is absolutely delicious. There is a wide range to choose from-not quite sure what a previous reviewer meant by "the menu is very limited (only a few item each day)." I have been here about twenty times and the menu has always included at least 18 entrees to... More

This place is reminiscent of the county house style French restaurants of Provence. When it hits, it can be very good, but there are problems. The menu is very limited (only a few item each day) as is seating and menu item selection. The building is a converted cottage, and not very converted at that and can seem crowed and... More
