Went there with 3 business associates. Service was so-so. Steaks were good, but entire meal was rather expensive. For a steakhouse I didn't feel the wine list was any special.

I had one of the best meals I have ever had in Baton Rouge and the service was very good also. The atmosphere is inviting and relaxing.

I'm stuck between a 4 and a 5 on the overall rating .....I'll go with the 5. I've been to Stroubes at least 5 - 7 times now, and each time it is excellent. We've had the fish, steak, salad, soups, appetizers... even desert. Each dish has always tasted excellent. Plus the decor is really nice. The booths are cozy....

We've been to Stroubes before, and loved the food, so maybe we just hit it on an off night. I ordered the Stoubes' salad, and it had old, slimy greens in the salad and had an incredibly vinegery dressing. My Louisiana Drum was very good, though. My dinner partner ordered the special, which included a lobster tail, and, after about...

Just finished eating one amazing meal here. We started out with the stroubes roll which was unbelievably good. My husband had the surf and turf and I had the duck duo. We could not believe how tender, juicy, and flavorful the entire meal was. Our server, Joseph was fantastic. I was torn between the mahi mahi and the duck duo....

We visited on a busy Saturday night after hearing recommendations from a few people we met in our hotel lounge. The food was basically good but there was a bit too much going on in terms of flavor for us. My husbands salad with shallot and bacon dressing was already enough flavor without the additional garnish of pickled okra. My...

Food was amazing, and having a New Orleans jazz band play their music throughout the dining area make for the perfect atmosphere. Great for a group dining as well.

I enjoy this restaurant, having gone twice now for lunch when I'm downtown with colleagues. Their lunch menu is comprised of a list of 8-10 unique specialty items, and each are absolutely delicious. Their grilled cheese for example, is made with fresh mozzarella, smoked Gouda, provolone and parmesan cheese, and is served with an amazing soup. One of my coworkers...

Every day has different special. One of the unusual specialties is the southern fried chicken with waffles. The meats including fish are great. They have a really good shrimp and grits.
The restaurant has a great range. From filling meats and gravys to light salads.
If you can't find something here to eat, you aren't hungry.

Everything we tried was excellent and special: soups, salads, softshell crabs, and baby-back ribs. Good service topped it off.
