The hostess, Belem, was very welcoming. I requested a combination not on the menu, and they made it-enchiladas Suizas and enchiladas mole. It was good, but not authentic mexican mole. The margarita was tasty and not overpriced. Overall a pleasant dining experience, and a couple hundred yards from the hotel.

This was a strange place. Our food was very good and the prices were reasonable. However, service was not good and the atmosphere was not comfortable. One of the wait staff had an argument with another staff person, yelling and screaming, and threw a dishtowel. The "hostess" seated people while she was on her cell phone. I would not recommend... I had dinner at El Camino Real on a Friday night, after I arrived in Bardstown, KY, to start my tour of the famous Bourbon Trail. First off, despite what many reviews state, this is not truly authentic Mexican food, but more closely resembles authentic border food. By that, I mean the dishes are what you'd find to either the... My grown Daughter & my twin Sister & I ate there early evening for Valentine's Day...They were obviously understaffed...Surely they could have anticipated being busy (though the Main Dining Room was only less than half full...The Bar area had only 1 couple... The food, as usual was very good (not the best there is, but maybe a 7 out of... More

Very fast service! Friendly wait staff. I shared a picture of margaritas and had a blast there! Food was excellent.

They have a varied menu and healthy options. The drinks were tasty and attentive service. The place is well decorated with murals and shellacked table art and seems to cater to families.

I was surprised at previous Trip Advisor reviews about how great this restaurant is. It was very convenient since it's just across from the Hampton Inn where we were staying. However, when my husband and I visited, I found the dining room rather dirty. The floors needed a good vacuuming, and there is a visible water mark on the walls... More

Our actual meals were fine. Nothing special. These places seem to be a dime a dozen around the country. All offering the same food, same ingredients, same atmosphere. What I didn't like was that it smelled like Lysol/Windex. Very dim lighting. Chips were edible, but not tasty. Margaritas were not good at all. But service was prompt, prices very reasonable,...
