Located in an unassuming strip mall in Lenexa, the Holy Land Cafe offers a wonderful selection of Mediterranean food and desserts. Its food is superbly prepared and wonderfully tasty. We visited there for lunch and were not disappointed. The menu includes a variety of sandwiches, shawarmah, salads, entrees, and desserts. They also offer cold beverages and Turkish coffee. For starters,... More

My husband and I ate at the Hoy Land Cafe recently. Wonderful food. I had the lamb curry and my husband the moussaka. Both were outstanding. Hummus appetizer was creamy and quite plentiful. All in all a very nice dining experience. The service was prompt and friendly.

For about $7, it's hard to beat a lunch special at the Holy Land. We order the #1 and it has Chicken Shawarmah, Beef Shawarmah, Hummus, Rice, Greek Salad, and Pita. If you are looking for fancy decor you might be disappointed, but the great food more than makes up for it!

New to the area, we'd heard great things about this restaurant and it definitely lived up to our expectations. We had the hummus, of course, lamb kabobs and the sun-dried tomato beef, which was SO tasty. The dinners each came with soup or salad; the lentil soup was also wonderful though I was almost full before the entree came! We... More

We had wonderful falafels. The hummus and foul were pretty good. We then had shawarma and kofta kabab and the kids had fries and chicken shawarma. The kabab were excellent and the shawarma ok but a bit dried. The Cnafe was not good but good sage tea

Their hummis is like none I have had anywhere. I would LOVE to know their secret! Service is fast and the people who work there are so very nice. Try the appetizer platter because their bubba ganoush is just super. They are very accomodating. Salad dressing is FABULOUS and they might even sell it to you to take home if... More

The food is authentic and presented wonderfully. My husband and I got the holy feast for 4 so we would have some to take home. Our waiter joked that if we ate it all he'd give it to us for free. Not even close. It was enough food for 6 people. I love middle eastern food and Holy Land Cafe's... More
