Located just outside of Kansas City, Kansas on the premises of the "Legends" outlet mall is a this sizeable restaurant serving up some pretty good cajun food. I believe they have several locations. They have done a decent job of creating the look and feel of a Cajun roadhouse.
Our server was efficient and friendly.
And we liked the food....

We enjoyed the Jazz out by the Legends in KCK. It had the band up high so that the loud music wasn't too loud so that you could still enjoy conversation. Food was excellent. Coming from cajun country, they get pretty close to the real deal.

my boyfriend and I used to love to make the special extra long drive to go to the Jazz for the great food and atmosphere. unfortunetly the past few times we have been the service has been pretty bad this last time however was the last straw for us. I understand a long wait during the holidays but that should...

We arrived about 1:00 on a Monday (day after Christmas) and it was busy but still lots of open tables. Sever was poor. Never gave us menus, checked on us 1x, gave us our check without seeing if we wanted anything, didn't know what was in the Muffaletta. She picked up my empty glass and set it on another table...

We come here all the time. And everytime we've had nothing to complain about! My husband has tried many things off the menu, and he has yet to taste something he didn't like. You can't go wrong with this place if you love Cajun food! My ultimate favorite is the Blackened Talapia with Shrimp Czarina with a side of hush...

We went our 4th visit even after our 3rd visit was questionable. The food is so greasy we couldn't eat it and sent it back. Anything fried is really bad. I can only guess that they don'e have the grease hot enough.
The service left alot to be desired. Has really gone down hill.

This location for Jazz is close to my work, so we stop in quite a bit. They've got great daily and Happy Hour specials. Their Voodoo sauce is great, they put it on many different items. I usually try to have something different but the Blackened Tuna w/dill hollandaise sauce is one of my personal favs. Make sure you get...

When it comes to Louisiana cooking I'm a tough critic and I enjoyed the food at Jazz. The boiled crawfish were delicious and the crawfish etouffee was also very good, although a little too hot for my liking. They have a nice selection of Louisiana beers including a few of my favorites: Abita Amber, Abita Turbo Dog, and Dixie Blackened...
