Choose anything from the menu and you won't be disappointed. Their sauces are wonderfully Italian. And their pizzas will bring you back for more.

First impressions are of a 1950's restaurant - you're back in time! We loved our meals, had good wine, and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.

The pasta, prices, pizza, sauces and service were perfect. Loved the neighborhood funkiness and friendlness. The place looks like a scary dive bar from the outside, but on the inside, it's as comfortable and homey as anyplace I've ever been. I loved it.

Mario's is a staple in Dubuque IA. There have been many famous people who walked through the doors. Mario and his wife have ran the restaurant for years! Always fresh cooking - and family recipes. His wife even has her own dressing she bottles and sells!

Great local restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious. Not what I would consider "authentic" Italian but more home cooking. Prices were reasonable, portions were huge, wait staff was friendly. Would recommend to anyone passing through.
