We went to see Wicked at Morris Civic Auditorium and stopped by here for a little dinner before hand. We had never been here and a friend suggested that we'd like it. We sat outside and we both ordered the Jameson Smoked Salmon Salad and it was excellent. Cannot wait to return and try some of their other dishes. Wait... More

We went to the Fiddler's Hearth for dinner around 6 pm. You need to park on the street to go here as there is no designated parking lot that I could see. From 6 am-6pm, there is a two hour limit and my assumption is that this applies every day of the week as it did not state otherwise. It... More

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Fiddler's Hearth Public House on April 8/13. We initially went to Rocco's based on Trip Advisor Reviews but it was a Monday and Rocco's was closed on Mondays at the time of our visit. We ended up with an excellent dinner at Fiddler's. My wife had Molly Malone Stew and she said it... More

If you are looking for a Celtic experience in downtown SOuth Bend, go to Fiddlers Hearth. They have authentic Irish and Scotch menu...fish and chips served in paper, tasty casserole dish of shepherds pie, scotch eggs, great filling soups, and delicious salads with such toppings as goat cheese and berries. It is an easy going place where you can sit... More

A find for us in South Bend as we drove through from Illinois to Ohio. Friendly and warm service with excellent food. We sat at a long table, with two of us on a comfy sofa! It was all fun and perfect for the occasion.

I was there midweek. Food was good. I had the Irish Stew (lamb). The servers were nice. I kind of felt like I was in a Cracker Barrel. We ate and had a couple of beers and left. It's not a place I would seek out but I would go there again.

Great and diverse local talent! Great staff! Very Friendly! I didn't care for the fish and soggy chips dripping with grease and served in newspaper.

Fiddler's Hearth has a Celtic menu with unique foods and whiskies you won't find too often between South Bend and Dublin. It's meat and potatoes, but prepared in new ways. The public house atmosphere includes frequent live music, board games and slow meals. I don't miss being hustled for appitizers and desserts. Soak in the Fiddler's Hearth when you need... More

We were there last July - the place appeared clean inside, the service was friendly and the food was very, very good. Prices were quite reasonable As I recall it was rather dark inside but we had a great time..

This is one of those places with great food and a lot of eclectic/Celtic atmosphere. They have a combination of small tables and trestle tables. If they're full (not uncommon) the trestle tables are shared with strangers. Occasionally there is local entertainment, usually in the Celtic style (I haven't figured out the schedule). The menu includes Bangers and Mash, Fish... More
