Description: The Santoro Family has been in the food service industry since 1988 through Frankie’s Beef & Pasta in Oak Lawn and Frankie’s Catering and are now excited to introduce Frankie’s Ristorante. From our robust Tuscan style Pork Chops to our homemade ricotta dumplings in a divine light tomato basil sauce to our decadent imported Italian desserts, we strive for perfection in our kitchen and have raised the bar high for our service standards. Our customers are guests in the Santoro Family’s home and our purpose is not only to make them feel wined and dined but also pampered. Our chef - born, raised and schooled in his homeland of Italy and with experience in some of the most renowned fine dining establishments in the US and Europe, has found his passion in life in cooking and has brought this passion to each one of his dishes. He maintains a consistent authenticity which has won us rave reviews in the local news media as well as a following among our guests.

We were there for a delayed Christmas Party with a group of about 20 in a private room. Service was prompt and friendly. After some appetizers, the rest of the courses were delivered and what excellent dishes they were! What I thought was the main course was another "appetizer", consisting of several different kinds of peppers, potatoes and sausage cooked... More

I just enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night dinner for two in a great, intimate Tuscan-feel restaurant! The service was great(thank you Louis) and the cuisine was to die for! Starters were the Frankie's Salad and a hearty bowl of Minestrone..both great! My wife's entree was the Cavetelli pasta with marinara sauce & mine ,the Veal Scallopine(best I've had in Chicago!).Both were... More

We always enjoy a dinner at Frankie's as the food is good, it has a nice decor and there is a solid wine selection. We recommend the beet and asparagus salad along with the salmon. We've eaten here several times and have always had a good meal and an enjoyable evening. I'd recommend it as a solid choice for Italian... More

An upscale restaurant. Nice all the way around, good mature service, professional, and efficient. Great lasagna, full bodied...yey light and not heavy. Heavenly flavor...best I've had. Price for a wine, salad and Lasagna about $32. The other items on menu I can not say...

We tried Frankie's when it first opened and were not impressed...that was some time ago. A friend wanted to try it....so reluctantly, we agreed ....and we were very pleased we did. They now have outdoor seating...which we love. The server was prompt and courteous. All of our dishes were tasty and plentiful. For dessert...the chocolate mousse was to die for.... More

This restaurant is close to our home, so we've tried it a few times. Each time we've found the food okay, but nothing special. Some of their combinations seem a little odd. I ordered the risotto special one night, and it was more like beef stew poured over rice. We went there with another couple the other night--I only had... More

Since we were treated to dinner by a couple of friends who like dining here, I should be giving it five stars, but I just can't. There are so many other great Italian bistros at way cheaper prices in the south suburbs. The ambience is very nice. Our server was nice, if not pretentious. We had a fish special that... More

The food here was decent, but too expensive. If I am going to pay $15-$20 for an entree, it should be excellent. I have had much better food in other Italian restaurants in the area.
