While Lou Malnati's or Giordano's are equally good, Gino's East gives you an excellent Chicago deep dish experience. Prepare to take some home, even if you go small size. The crust, cheeses, and sauce are all praise-worthy.

No one should come to Chicago and leave without trying the best pizza in the world. Order the sausage patty that covers the crust. Lots of area locations.

Brought a wine from home (Sonoma County) to share with a friend and was told they don't allow you to do that. Otherwise their wine list is very poor. The sauce was flavorful with plummy tomatoes. The cheese had a great taste and just the right amount. The crust was very corn mealy but it actually added to the pizza. Second best deep dish I've had. Definitely a do over.

Love eating here--beats going all the way downtown for the same quality pizza and no wait! Classic Chicago pizza. If you're starving while you wait try the toasted ravioli. YUM!

The crust is from cornbread-what is that about?? Not bad but nothing compared to pizza in NJ! Go somewhere else or try the thin crust
