Our first time in Galena was enhanced by a delightful lunch in the Victory Cafe. The first highlight was the waitress whose energetic and disarming welcome made us eager to try out the menu. I highly recommend the Victory Cafe in Galena, IL. We had a womens weekend and came to Galena. This was the best place to eat. Food was excellent and the staff were wonderful.

Victory Cafe in Historic Galena has the best breakfast in town! Family owned, great service, fresh food and DELICIOUS! Don't miss the cinnamon french toast, biscuits and gravy and good old fashioned eggs any way you like them.

When you see the word Cafe in the name it might make you think that the food would be hot and fresh but average in taste, at least that's what we expected.
