I live around the corner and love their Crunchy Spicy Tuna and their pot stickers. I have tried other dishes and they are great as well.
Have eaten there a couple of times and really enjoy the food. A friend recommended Tiparos. I may have not have entered by just looking at the front, but it is small, but clean and welcoming and the service is fast. In addition to Thai, they also have a sushi bar. We have only had the sushi once, but it... More
I was with a party of four yesterday and we all had various meals. All were very good, friendly service, we were all given water right away, and had prompt service. I will go again.
We live in the neighborhood and have eaten at Tiparos many times. We hadn't been there for a while, so we stopped last week. The Thai Spring Rolls are great and the chicken pot-stickers are one of my favorites. We also had Pad Thai and a spicy chicken dish. Both were quite good, and we had enough left over for... More
Located near the Chicago History Museum, we have found a very nice restaurant : very clean - nicely decorated and excellent thai food. We tried the roast duck - golden noodles - subgum with chicken - green curry with jasmine rice (reminded me of Jim Thomson's restaurant in Bangkok!!). Everything was good, quickly served. Only bad point : Shingha beer... More
Not the best Thai food in town but not the worst either. The restaurant reflects the price of the meal -- average. Service is okay. Again, nothing special. For a fairly inexpensive but filling meal or a decent "to-go" dinner, Tiparos is worth a visit.
I was travelling on business, staying at the Public hotel. The hotel staff recommended Tiparos for good Thai food. It is in a nice area (Gold Coast / Lincoln Park) - the food was great, and the staff friendly.
Met a friend after working all weekend and she reccomended this Thai joint. Great patio, on a beautiful day. food was reasonable but kinda bland for my taste. My friends dish was excellent and the portions were generous. Will try again just not the same pork PHO type diish.
This restaurant really sucks!!! They did not want to provide menus and served 2 other parties before they got to us. We even had to ask for water. My only experience and my last. This place can really go to hell!!!!
