I loved this restaurant. The atmosphere is great the food is delicious, French with a Japanese infusion. The service is perfect, Seth was our waiter he was attentive charming and took time out of his busy evening to make an origami frog's for our 3 year old twins, they were delighted. I was most impressed that Yoshi came out to... More

I've been to Yoshi's Cafe 4 times now in the past 8 months and have only positive things to say - they managed to provide great service and perfectly made food even on an especially busy night which not all restaurants manage to do. Try their whole red snapper - deliciously deep fried and beautifully presented - it peels from... More

We visit my brother in Chicago once or twice a year and every visit includes dinner at Yoshi's Cafe. We keep going back because the food and the service is fantastic. My wife had a Japanese style fish dish while my brother and I opted for the rack of lamb. My wife and I started with the beet salad. Picture... More

I really enjoyed my meal at Yoshi last night (Tuesday). The staff was great and responsive even though they were quite busy. They served a local latino beer which I had never had before...it was quite good. Well...the 5 Rabbits was good...the 5 Lizards not so much. I had their famous hamburger...and it was fantastic and perfectly cooked. I didn't... More

Own a condo across the street from Yoshi's and dine with them very time I am in town. The entire menu is wonderful and has some unique delights. The staff is always a delight, very much on top of their game. Great place to impress friends, family, co-workers or clients for any occasion -- but don't let not entertaining for... More

My wife and I having been eating at Yoshi's for about 2 years now. We first went there chasing the ultimate best tasting hamburger and we found it. A delicious Waygu beef burger for which the toppings have evolved since but the beef still shines. The rosemary fries are an excellent accompaniment. Looking forward to May when softshell crab season... More

Reminiscent of the friendly atmosphere of Cheers, "where everybody knows your name........the atmosphere at Yoshi's is at once friendly, welcoming and delicisous. Any possible shortcomings in the food, and there are almost none, are overtaken by the friendliness, where everyone eating at the bar are either neighbors or friends of Yoshi and his family. The food is great, the service... More

Unpretentious upscale neighborhood cafe with a gourmet menu and a friendly atmosphere. Great service, great beverages (try the wasabi stuffed olives). Been about a dozen times and every time I go I'm blown away by deliciousness. Never had a bad meal or dish at Yoshi's!

I ate here Friday night with a larger group. I honestly thought that it was your run of the mill cafe, judging by the name. I was wrong. The staff is professional, well trained, and to sum it up: outstanding! The food was stellar! We all ordered something different, and ended up sharing with each other, because the food was... More
