We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. Paul the manager, always comes by all the tables to make sure everyone is happy, and if there's a certain type of meat that hasn't come by, he will make sure they send it out immediately. My kids LOVE the filet and the lamb chops. My favorite is the... More

Salad bar is excellent and the meat selection is very good. I didn't happen to love all the meat I tried but that's just me. Very fast paced environment inside, great place to go with friends or another couple. Wouldn't be my first choice for a romantic dinner for two as it gets a little noisy. Drinks are tasty but... A meat extravaganza. Various meats are brought to you via gouchos who are very polite. The rum drinks with cane sugar are very good, but expensive and small. While I had a good time, I've been to Texas due Brazil which I thought had a better if not larger selection of meat. The salad bar here is also slightly less... More

Agree with the comment on forget about the salad bar. Turn the card to Green and the meat will come to you, all those goodness. Every different cut of meat just taste yummy. I love the beef selections and the cheese puff, and the banana sides. yum yum. Very satisfying.

Outside of the prices, this is my new favorite place in the world!!! All the meat you can eat, with all of the choices you can think of (bacon-wrapped filet mignon!!!). Great salad bar too, but meat is king. I'd try lunch instead, for half the price.

This restaurant came as a recommendation from our valet, so glad we went to try it out! Wonderful assortment on their gourmet salad bar and awesome selection of top quality meats on the Brazilian steak skewers! Very friendly and attentive staff, pricey but worth it for a special night out!

Ignore the salad bar, turn your disc to green and wait for the waiters to slice prime cuts of ribs, sirloin, tenderloin, sausages, lamb and picanha (a Brazilian sirloin cut) to your plate and devour. A little pricey but who am I to complain especially since it was my Chicago-based relatives who paid for it. Thank you for taking me... More

Fogo de Chao is the only authentic Braziian steak house in Chicago. They serve slow-roasted meats that are quite tasty. The price-fixed menu allowed my guests to sample everything on the menu. The vast restaurant decor reminds me of a Vegas buffet. If you are price minded it's best to try a Friday lunch where the price is almost 1/2! We... More
