This restaurant was recommended by a co-worker. I am not from Chicago, and do not like deep dish pizza. I was not able to call ahead for pick up. The restaurant was very busy, but I was able to put my order in and she said 2 minutes for it to be ready and it actually took 2 minutes. The... More

Excellent pizza. Very creative ingredients and very nice staff. The wait was 30 min on a Saturday night but was very pleasant as they took drink orders in line and also gave out small free pizza samples. Loved it.

I went for lunch today and this pizza was the best I'd tasted since I'd left France 18 years ago. Wood fired is the only way to go and this pizza had a superb crust, delicious toppings and came with a feeling of being lovingly created. Wine was great, espresso terrific and the service was perfect. An ideal lunch. Thanks.

In a town that's known for deep dish it's good to find an authentic "pizzaiuolo" with a passion for the true flavors of Italy. The pizza is very typical of what you find in Italy and the space has the atmosphere and hospitality of a local Italian pizzeria down to the wood-fired oven and pizza toppings. They also have an antipasti... very authentic Italian pizza. All fresh ingredients and flavors are terrific. The owner works the crowd and provides snacks while you wait for a table at this very busy and popular place. Worth the wait.

This place is amazing and were so pleased that our son knew about it. Local flavor but wonderful menu. The staff was willing to create the pizza of our choice and we did just that. Had a group, split out 4 custom pizzas and each was more amazing than the next. You have to try this place! They get very... More

Charge more for a pizza, advertise it as being cooked in an imported stove, put arugula on it, and people will fall for anything. Very mediocre pizza--the crust is a rather lifeless pita bread, burnt around the edges and uncooked in the middle--for what a large size thin-crust might cost you at a pizza place without social pretensions. Poorest quality... More

Loved the classy, upscale yet Italian styling of the place. Great menu of unusual pizzas and antipastas. The attempt at making "original Napoli-style" pizza is good, but not perfect. We had the 4-cheese with porcini mushroom pie. Great combination of cheeses and the mushrooms were excellent. Napoli-style? Well...Yes, they have the old-world wood-burning pizza "oven". Yes, they use the freshest... More

...the amazing pizzas of my native Sao Paulo, Brazil, which are on their turn as good as or better than those you can get in Napoli (attested by Italian tourists). I think this is probably as good as it gets in Chicago, though. Very well done, high quality ingredients, perfect slightly charred borders which I ate with gusto. The four... More

Went here based on tripadvisor's best restaurants in Chicago. Definitely not a letdown! Pizza was superb, as good as Cupola back in San Francisco. Our waiter was so attentive and knowledgable about each item on the menu. He had cool stories to tell, and pronounced every Italian word correctly. My mouth is watering at the thought of their pizzas. Would... More
