Food is fresh; service is prompt and with a smile. When you ask for eggs over medium, they truly are! The bacon is thick slab and smokey. The hash browns are the best in town....crispy on the outside and not greasy.

I live in Southern California and have a summer place in CDA. When me and my family are in CDA we eat at breakfast at the Breakfast Nook each and every morning. Great prices, quality food, BIG portions and excellent service. I wish we had a Breakfast Nook here in Laguna Beach. A++++ Lance B.

It was a cold winter day and we had just arrived in CDA. We waited in line for about 15 minutes but it was well worth it!! Everything was just perfect, the service, the cost of our breakfast and the autmosphere was just busseling with activity and happiness! We really liked it!

I'm always on the lookout for a good Chili-Cheese omelet made with nice, thick "Texas Red" chili and The Breakfast Nook has one of the best! This place isn't easy to find and not much to look at but the food was great!

Certainly it is hard to ruin breakfast. And I do favor restaurants that specialize in breakfast and are not a chain. This is both. The breakfast I had was just perfect. There was plenty of food. The service was friendly and fast and the prices very reasonable. What not to like?
