While visiting Tybee Island, we had lunch at AJ's Dockside restaurant. We sat out on the deck and the view was absolutely beautiful. But the best was their crab stew. It was delicious; best I've ever had.

This place has become a regular for us, especially at sunset. Good prices on good food and if you're on the patio, great view. The jambalaya is great, as are several of the sandwiches. Don't be put off by the full parking lot..there is overflow parking about a half block away.
We ate at AJ's on a busy Friday night in May. We waited one hour and 15 minutes for our table and it was worth it! We were seated under the awning with an amazing water view looking out to the sunset.
Our daughters ordered steak, my husband the gumbo, and I had the crabcake burger. Everything was delicious and...

Friendly bunch of folks @ AJ's, There is a large area for Dockside seating unfortunaate for us is was really windy the Day we visits , The selection on the menu is very good , and the Dessert was excellent , we tried them all
Stopped here for lunch and sat out on the deck. Ordered a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp. The shrimp were cooked perfectly but they put a ton of salt or something on them. The crab stew was ok but not as good as the bisque at Sundae Cafe the night before. If you sit outside be prepared for some obnoxious...

This restaurant is the perfect mix of great food, service, atmosphere and drinks! My waitress, Kayla, was extremely helpful- not only suggesting my new favorite cocktail but helping me find a delicious Gluten-Free meal, not always easy (cheeseburger, no bun, was amazing). I had a great time and cant wait to go back! For the island- this hidden treasure is...

Ate dinner here and was pleasantly surprised. The conch fritters were excellent and the wine list is decent. The whole fried flounder and the corvina was excellent as well. Good service and just plain fun.
I took my friends who were visiting Georgia from Seattle on a ride up the coast to Tybee Island. It was a rainy and very windy day so the beach was out of the question. I knew about A.J.'s Dockside which is off the beaten path from a prior trip to Tybee. We were able to sit out on the...

After reading the reviews I decided to work this into date night. After waiting 2 hours for a table (and only being told 1 hour), we finally were seated. The food was overdone and greasy. By that time we didn't even bother sending it back. Things may be different during the day, but as for a very rare date night...

Beautiful sunset view from the dock. Enjoy dining there with a plate of fresh seafood and drink. It's heaven on earth.
