The seafood here is great! Although there's been a long wait several times. Still I keep coming back for the good seafood.
We have stopped in Richmond Hill, GA several times on our sojourn to warmer climes each winter. Steamers is a must do on our list. Best "She Crab" soup anywhere! (unless you make it yourself) The service is always cheerful & quick, so don't hesitate because you're tired after a long drive. Prime rib was excellent, as was the broiled...

We had eaten here before and tried it again. It is good - but not great. My wife liked the stuffed flounder, and I had the shrimp and oyster platter (fried). The food was good, but a bit pricey for the area. We lived in this area for 10 years, departing a year ago for Arkansas.
You cannot miss the experience of eating at Steamers. A delightful restaurant in Richmond Hills that serves fresh, tasty seafood and excellent service. The crab legs, combination platters and scallop pasta was insanely delicious and worth the stop if you are headed to the Savannah area. I wanna shirt that says STEAMERS!!!! lol..... Delish!!! Must try
Lived in Richmond Hill for past two years but our first time to Steamers. Overall, the food was very good but not great. The shrimp was probably the best choice. Prices were ok. The service was excellent.
We had the ceasar salad with shrimp. We ate at the bar because there was a 15 minute wait. We enjoyed the bar. There was a nice ambiance about the whole restaurant from the view of the bar. The bartender was very nice and served us well. Prices were reasonable and we loved the happy hour prices on the beer!...

This place is really not that good. They over charge and the food is not good. Took my mom and she had the oysters...said they too were not fresh.
On way to Florida stopped for the night and went to this restaurant on a recommendation at hotel. It was a busy night so had to wait about 30 minutes but we were not disappointed. The food was great, reasonably priced, the staff very friendly and the atmosphere outstanding. The shallops and shrimp were the best I've had anywhere.
It was a busy night and we waited almost 30 minutes. We arrived at 6:40 and were seated at 7:10. The early bird special which ended at 7 was extended to us since we were in the restaurant early. We had the 8 oz prime rib which included salad or soup, corn and either wine or a beer all for...
