Nice view but waited a little while for a server to come take drink orders. After that though server and food stepped it up and was pleased with overall value.

The view inside the Country Kitchen is very cool and the service was fast and efficient. The water and ice tea was served in a Ball big mouth canning jar and that also added to the experience. The food was good but not great and the serving portions were huge. Maybe we were there on an off day, but should...

Our visit didn't start very well. We were seated by the window with its beautiful views. It was a good thing because we had to sit there for a long time before our server came. They were not that busy and had plenty of servers. When we got food, it was good. The woman in the country store where we...

I've been eating at the Country Kitchen for about 50 years. The food is always great and the service is friendly and fast. The vegetables were delicious as well as the biscuits, cornbread and muscadine preserves (which they always serve).
It sits on top of the hill in Pine Mountain. It has a Charming country store. It has an overpriced menu with mediocre food. It is such a shame. I remember eating here when I was a child. It used to be better than this.
While the food is good and atmosphere is nice, the service was terrible. The view was beautiful. The lady at the front was nice but our waitress was not interested in customer service or getting a tip. Give the restaurant a try but ask for a different waitress if you get the one who doesn't want to wait tables.
After years of living in Georgia, we came back for a nostalgic visit to the Gardens, which are by the way out of this world. We stayed at the Calloway Inn and had breakfast here. Great way to start the day.
I have been coming to the Country Kitchen since I was a little girl (1960s) and can honestly say that I have never been disappointed. I love their sweet tea, fried green tomatoes and their breakfasts are definitely the way to start the day!
Be sure to have a big appetite when you go to eat here! Delicious southern favorites like Chicken 'n Dumplin's, fried green tomatoes, mac 'n cheese, homemade meatloaf, fried okra, collard greens, REAL key-lime pie, and the list goes on! Their sweet tea amazing. The staff is super-friendly, and service is fast and accurate. Great views from most tables.
Southern cooking and good service can be found at this hill-top restaurant. The views are spectacular...request a window! I've been back several times! The country store in front of the eating area reminds me of a Cracker Barrel and the Southern menu is excellent. My husband ordered meatloaf, which was not warm enough but they replaced it with a chicken...
