This restaurant was recommended for breakfast, but leaves a lot to the imagination. Primarily a local restaurant with average food and not so nice environment. Tables crammed together. Not one of my favorites for breakfast in Vero!

The restaurant atmosphere is not very warm and reminds me a little bit of a school cafeteria in terms of lighting and tables settings. However, this restaurant provides the best breakfast comfort food you can find. Made from scratch and delicious. Bring cash as they do not accept credit cards.
Don't be fooled by the outside! Grab a table and prepare to chow down. Generous portions, wonderful staff, and great pricing. I wish there was a place like this where we normally live.
Actually it is called Kountry Kitchen with love.....Rightly so.... we loved the breakfast. Had waffles eggs bacon and country fried steak with sausage gravy. Comfort food for sure, but well worth the calories. Thank goodness we hiked 9 miles yesterday
At the recommendation of a local, we ate here for lunch, not long before their closing time. The atmosphere was classic home-style and the service was good. The food, however, was give or take. This well kept secret is a local favorite; it's packed nearly every time we visit. Specials are up on board daily and many are so popular that they sell out before noon (Monday's Turkey platter, for example). Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry sauce for under $6.00 keeps us coming back. My husband loves the wide variety of soups made...

This restaurant is a very pleasant place to sit and enjoy a meal. It offers most of the breakfast classics and seems a fair value for what is offered. I had French toast--a little disappointing though reasonably priced. The link sausage was tasty but nothing out of the ordinary. My wife had biscuits and gravy. Both were excellent--biscuits light an...

After enjoying a lovely country fried steak and eggs breakfast we realised we only had our credit cards. That's when the cashier became quite nasty and said my wife cannot leave and I have to go out and find the money. I was back in about 45 minutes where I finally found an ATM to pay the ransom money. Not...

Perfect location for a home away from home breakfast. Prices are low, food and service are both good. It's a time-warp, from maybe the late 1980s or early 1990s.
The staff have been there for a couple of decades. It's clean and filled with locals every weekend and all season long in the mornings. They do breakfast and lunch only...
