We had only 1 night in Sanibel and some locals we met in a bar, recommended Traders. Casual Southern Florida / Caribbean vibe. Hawaiian shirts, live steel drum, Jimmy Buffet type music. 6th trip in 3 months--the chef does fish superbly--only place we can get pompano--his meat dishes are always accompanied with lightly seasoned sauces--not many chefs in this area understand light seasoning--many use a lot of pepper and hot seasoning and kill the food--not this chef!!!

We chose Trader's w/o knowing a lot about it. Everything from the atmosphere to the service were excellent. The menu has such a wide variety that there is something for everyone. We took my 2 yr old and they were very accommodating to families. I highly recommend this place. I plan to return.
