We were amazed the place was dead when we got there on a Saturday. The staff were super friendly and the foo was delicious.Everyone from the bartender to the waitresses came to our table and interacting with us and our girls. :-)

Normaly we eat at the island cow when we're on this island. But this time we tried the restaurant next to our room. The food was good and the pina colada's too, very friendly staff.

All windows and mirrors made the cafe look fresh, clean, bright. Carlos was a really nice guy. The food was nicely prepared and tasted great. Relaxing atmosphere.

We had a couple of meals here as it was close to our hotel. We loved the kabobs, best my wife ever had and the burgers were amazing. The sliders were just ok. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Every time we went the place was not crowded and were seated immediately. The bartenders were fun and made wonderful... More

Located at our hotel, so very convenient. Great variety on the menu, reasonably priced, nice ambience, live music some nights.

This was our first meal in Sanibel - a quick lunch after our flight. It was disappointing, and I would definitely not return! The place was empty and disorganized, and the food was extremely mediocre.

Visited Sea Star Cafe for breakfast with the hopes of using this as a starting point for our exploration of Sanibel and Captiva Islands. (We were staying in Fort Myers Beach so this was a day trip). The location (not waterfront) did not bother us (prior reviews hinted to this fact) as much as the dated interior and poor service.... More

Better than most restaurants, but I grow tired of loud bar like restaurants with mostly the same food. Fish here is excellent staff very nice , good service but they need maybe one more person on staff.

It is a tiny little beach hut with good service from Joe, a yummy lobster bisque soup, and fresh greens in the salads.
