This place is gorgeous! You can feel the history of this place. Unfortunately, the lunch wasn't wonderful. Very average and overpriced. If you don't mind that, go for the experience of dining in the bottom of a swimming pool!

This restaurant fits in perfectly with sightseeing in the oldest city in the country, It has an old fashioned air and live piano music. The location is stunning, and the menu has numerous lunch options. Its central location makes it easy to get to. The restaurant is in the swimming pool, and the space is amazing, but do not expect amazing food and service. They serve supper first Friday each month, and I booked table for 7.30pm. We were 30 mins late, and they already sent me an email asking me if we were coming or not. And there was even no guests waiting...

I have been to this restaurant several times, and usually order the same thing. We took friends this past time and they ordered "specials" for the day - Italian panini and a wrap. We assumed the panini was the same price as other paninis, and the wrap should have been less. However, when we received the bill, they were both...

The food here is fantastic. I liked it so much that I ate here twice while visitng St Augustine. The artichokes and pasta were delicious and the serving large. The second time I had the tuna salad sandwich which was equally good.
After our tour decided to stop and get a bite. Had the 1/2sandwich (turkey & cheese) wonderful soup veg. Best part was the piano playing even took requests. Very relaxing. Only part only open for lunch. Such a shame would be nice for a light dinner.
Light live music, a great atmosphere(an empty swimming pool in the basement of the Lightner Museum - you eat in the deep end), wonderful menu and extremely competent staff
Loved the restaurant and the food. However, the staff split our group of 6 into 2 groups of 3 which did not seem to be necessary. They could easily have moved two small tables together for all 6 of us.
I planned a wedding dress rehearsal dinner at Café Alcazar on Saturday, April 6th via email and phone. I worked with Chef Jesse and Shelby for 6 months. I am not familiar with Saint Augustine and used Tripadvisor’s reviews and rating to help me select a place. In organizing this event, I had plenty of questions and Shelby was very...

The Cafe Alcazar is a hidden treasure of ambiance and good food. To be sure, it's unique to eat at the bottom of what was once the largest indoor pool in the USA! Live music from a grand piano added to our luncheon pleasure. My wife and I both ordered a special of the day, crab sandwich and grouper wrap...
