We found another hidden gem. Outstanding food and service! The appetizer suggestion is the Apple-Onion Soup (superb). Then for your entree, the slow roasted Pork Shank is amazing (it's a 2 lbs. "Fred Flintstone" size portion) with a crispy deep fried skin. Leave room for desert because the daily homemade "Pineapple Upside Down Cake" by co-owner, Natalie is truly heaven....

If you like German food, this is a nice little place. Good food. Generous portions. Good prices. The place was busy and the waitress was a bit harsh to begin with, but warmed as the evening calmed down.
Our family stopped in this place on a recent trip to Pompano Beach and I have to say we were wonderfully surprised. We decided to order several entrees and everyone partake a little of everything. The sausage sampler with sour kraut and a potato dumpling (so light and fluffy, not like a stone in your stomach like so many places...

My teenage granddaughter is a very picky eater. On a recent visit to South Florida, I faced the challenge of taking the young lady out to dinner for a grandpa talk about... well, life... my old one, her new. I went down the list of what she won't eat, crossing off restaurant choices... Thai, out, doesn't like spicy - there...

The first time we came was for lunch and we enjoyed our authentic sampler meals so much that we returned for dinner on our next trip to Pompano. The entrees are very authentic with a great selection of dishes and beers to choose from. The apple strudel is ample enough to share among friends and very tasty!
Fun place to eat, been going for years. It's a smaller place so quite noisy. But lots of fun. Always crowded, so we started making reservations in advance Food is great, great beer ....love das boot! It can be a little pricy, but food quality is good.. Wait staff sometimes seem to be overwhelmed and busy but do the job...

I was tired of paying Fort Lauderdale prices for average food in the area in the nearby big-name all this all that types of restaurants. So, I went on a mission to find a local little diner place where prices are normal for normal food. In this area, is it possible? Well this place sure can. I had a large...

Didn't make reservations so we had to sit at the bar and enjoyed talking to the waitresses. Being from Wisconsin, have tasted many German meals and will add this to my favorite list when on the Atlantic coast. Loved the pieces of pretzel with the dark pumpernickel, served with butter and mustard in the bread basket. My husband and I...

had a coupon for a free weiner schnitzel if you buy another weiner schnitzel and two drinks; so we had two beers (too large to drink them all). There were three of us; the third family member had a combination (weiner schnitzel, bratwurst, knockwurst, and sauerbrauten). everything was good, except for the sauerbrauten. Appetizer: we three shared four potato pancakes....
