This is now Posey's Dockside. It's the best place around. The fried flounder is the best I've ever had. I have to stop every time we go to the coast.
What more needs to be said....OK the dockside location is cool. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Worth the trip from Tallahassee, if you want sea food food and kick back. TripAdvisor needs to change to current name "Posey's Dockside". Yes, the same family owns it as the other great restaurant in town. My only regret was missing the... More
Had lunch on a blustery, too cool day, and enjoyed the excellent gumbo and blue crab claws. The twice baked potato very rich and yummy. The side of grilled veggies a bit more healthy and very buttery, tasty. The waitress was friendly and helpful. The view of the marina with boats was grand. Will go back to sit outside on... More
Nice mix of locals. Sunday church crowd and big groups of bikers. It works for everyone. Kids liked it. The view is great. The food was above average but not the best. Worth a stop for sure.
This place has a great view. It needs to work on the food. Much better before the new management, but I want them to succeed.
Now owned by and re-named Posey's Dockside, it doesn't hold a candle to the "real" Posey's steamroom. Odd, because the same family are running it. We went for lunch, and were bitterly disappointed. The waitress was new, so we made allowances for the mediocre service and her unfamiliarity with the menu. However, the food was definitely not up to Posey's... More
A group of us went to Posey's last night and it was a GREAT experience. Food was wonderful, nice selection of fresh shrimp, scallops, oysters and grouper. Good kids menu that satisfied a picky group of boys. The Captains platter was a great choice for adults along with solid app selections. Try the seafood nachos - may not be good... More
Hook Wreck Henry's is now Posey's Dockside Cafe. All their seafood is grilled or blackened. I've found both to be delicious. My husband always liked his seafood fried until he ate grilled seafood here. They do fry french fries, and seafood for sandwiches, but I believe that's all. They have live music on the weekends. It's located at Panacea Marina... More
We were driving from the coast to Tallahassee, looking for someplace to have lunch. We weren't hoping for much in these tiny towns, but we turned on a side street in Panacea to find Hook Wreck Henry's. It seemed like your typical dockside bar, but had a nice menu. They offer oysters, shrimp and other items as sandwiches or dinners.... More
A classic waterfront seafood dive, right on the water with dockside dining. Great oysters and other seafood. One of our favorite places.
