This is a very small cafe/bakery. I purchased a chai tea, a caramel salt brownie (which was to die for!!!), and a loaf of fresh baked rosemary and pink sea salt bread. The bread was baked in a brick oven out back and smells delicious! I haven't tried it yet, as I'm sitting in the back garden right now enjoying... More

Whenever in town, I have to visit Mosswood Farm Store at least twice - when arriving in Micanopy and before I leave. For the killer brownies, the gunpowder green tea leaves, the curried black bean pies, local happy chicken eggs, the stone baked bead (Sat & Sun Ed fires up the brick oven out back), the earth-friendly housecleaning products, chatting... Great pastries and endless earth friendly products.Give them a try you will not be sorry. The place is filled with a mind numbing assortment of products and they sell fresh herbs out back.

This is a store that is chock full of things. You have to walk around a couple of times to realize all that there is to purchase. The baked goods are fantastic!

As I've said in other reviews, the one disappointment about the charming little antique town of Micanopy is the lack of restaurants in the 'downtown' center. You have a couple of cafe options, but I discovered this unique place at the end of my time in Micanopy. This little store is outside the downtown square of Micanopy but within walking... More

Stopped in to check out the organic veggies and pastries and ended up spending $104.00. They also have soaps, candles and jams, grits, brown rice, homemade breads, cookbooks and several other odds and ends. Friendly staff and always busy. Open 7 days a week at 10 am.

We loved the place the first day and went back to buy some Bear Claw, Spinach Feta quiche, brownies and some other wares before we left Micanopy. They have quite long hours by Micanopy standards. Be sure to stop by if you are visiting the museum next door, or are staying at the Herlong, or are in the area for... More
