Extraordinary traditional and creative French cooking prepared with attention to detail and preparation rarely found in the US. Equal to many high end NYC and SF restaurants.
Well that was a pleasant surprise to find such excellent french cuisine in the restaurant of our hotel ! It's a small and intimate dining room and made a pleasant change from some of the cavernous places we had eaten earlier this trip. The veal chop just melts in your mouth.
This is hands down the best restaurant experience in South Florida. First, the setting is cozy..... the decor elegant with a touch of whimsy . There are only a few tables which lend one to feel somewhat privileged to be part of such an intimate experience. Then, one meets Patrick, the Maitre D' , who entices one's palate with excruciatingly... More
If you are looking for an out of the ordinary yet outstanding culinary experience this is the place to go. My wife and I were there celebrating our 31st wedding anniversary. The person who I thought was the Maitre D' is also the sommelier and apparently also the owner based on earlier reviews. My wife often orders a cosmopolitan before... More
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner at Pied a Terre. The service was outstanding! The entire staff saw that our every need was taken care of. Extensive wine list! Authentic French cruisine with a twist. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quaint. The table was beautifully set. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a romantic... More
Had a wonderful vacation ending dinner with particular attention from the French owner, Patrick Gruest. He has a great concept of having French Michelin rated chefs come over every 4 months to instruct his staff on new contemporary recipes which are always evolving. The scallops and caviar appetizer and foie gras bonbon were out of this world - so unusual... More
We celebrated my birthday in Miami Beach and wanted to go to a special restaurant. We found it. This small French Restaurant is located in the boutique hotel called the Cadet. There might be 15 tables at most. The service was impeccable. The food was well prepared and delicious. They have a wonderful wine list. Throughout the night they made... More
I am French and I have been living in the United States for some time so I was starting to miss the French cuisine. This restaurant was an amazing surprise. All the meals were delicious, especially the different types of 'foie gras' as appetizers, it was one of the best French restaurants I have ever been in. The atmosphere was... More
We went to pied a terre with mixed feelings because our other experiences with French dining have been generally disappointing. This was a very pleasant surprise! The fellow who owned the restaurant was right there making sure our experience was one to remember- every detail was carefully taken care of. His wine list was outstanding- he uses smaller wineries and... More
Good food can be inexpensive. Great food is NEVER cheap. Great food is what you will fine at Pied a Terre. Intimate dining. Hands down the best of the best for find dining French cooking regardless of the big name and "celebrity" chefs in town who never actually do squat in their restaurants personally. The food here is always with... More
