The food was excellent. The service was not. WIth gratuity built in around the miami beach area servers have very little motivation to work for the customer. It took close to 15 minutes before anyone took a drink order. Once dinner was served and a desert was turned down it took another 15 minutes just to get a bill.
I have to say first that I am writing this review with mixed feelings. The Dining Room, which has been my favorite neighborhood restaurant since it opened, has grown up and moved on. Now known as The Dining Room Pop-Up at Vesper, located at 1801 Collins Avenue in the recently renovated, beautiful Shelborne Hotel, it has joined the ranks of...

Nested down in the Southern Most end of Sobe. This restaurant is a bit out of the way if your walking from the north end of south beach.. But it's only like 5 or 10 bucks for a cab there.. My Business partner and I really enjoyed it.
My wife and I had dinner with friends at the Dining Room, and I must say that it was a terrific experience.
Our table was not ready at the time of our reservation, so Jose offered each of us a glass of wine while we waited. It was not until we received our check after our wonderful dinner that we...

We went to Miami to eat beautiful food and The Dinning Room didn't let us down, truly amazing!!
Wife and I dined at The Dining Room. This restaurant has an excellent upscale menu as good as their sister restaurant, OLA. However, the Dining Room has a much smaller dining area, with the open kitchen adjacent to the back corner of the dining room. Atmosphere is less elegant and unfortunately, although we had a reservation for a special occasion...

We ate at The Dining Room on our second night in Miami beach. Service was great, food was tasty and fresh. The only cons were that the place is VERY small, and I didn't like how my husband and I were sat in the corner next to a larger party where we could hear everything they were talking about. Also,...

This fairly new entry (within the last half year) is in the quieter SoFi (south of Fifth St) section of SoBe. It's an unprepossessing spot, yet is warmly inviting. It has a cozy main room, with alfresco sidewalk dining too. The owner, a south Florida local, is also behind celebrity Chef Doug Rodriguez's OLA north of Lincoln Road. This new,...

This restaurant is not too far away from the crowded streets of Miami Beach but just far enough to relax and enjoy the delicious food they have to offer. We ordered several courses and every item that came to the table was tasty and well presented. Not too foo foo though! The wine choices were also well chosen and affordable. I...
