We ate dinner here on a quiet Saturday night. This is a classic Keys dive bar- salty locals, sassy waitresses (in a good way) and very good food. Coconut onion rings and coconut beer are a must.

This place is good! Mahi sandwich best I ever had and, as the other reviewer shared, the beer was cold. Definitely will come back. It is worth a visit!
Everyone is always a winner at Shipwrecks! The beer is cold and the conversation good. The food is good. They cooked fish we had just caught and was it good!
This meals was made so good buy the great service by the the very talented beautiful amazing Karrie-Ann Fox Moore
We stopped here on our way to key West. The food was really good and reasonably priced. Order came quite fast too. It has an interesting setting, felt like on Caribbean vacation :)
I love how people who complain about locals refuse to leave their "real" name. The meatball local you referred to spends thousands a week in shipwrecks. By the way we don't care how you do it up north. If it is so great up north, stay up north. I am a local that goes there 6 out of 7 days...

I had a roast beef sandwich that was the last luncheon special. It was well worn, overcooked and just plain disgusting. Also, we had to move, because a loud and boisterous "local" was in full voice and you had to scream at each other to be heard above him. Wait staff let us know that this guy was "good to...

Our family ate here after a long day at John Pennekamp State park. It was good food. Not off the charts fantastic. The waitress was ok. Instead of walking the paper plates to our kids she actually tossed them to them from the end of the table. She said "here kids catch" I thought that was very strange. But the...

we were in Key Largo 3 days and stopped here 2 times. I loved the place. It's not fancy and like the review before this was a hole in the wall, but I would go out of my way to stop again. It was a very laid back place with a great bartended from Delaware County, PA.
The pricing and food is excellent, sometimes short staffed, and slow service, atmosphere is good for this type of place.
