We ended up going to Cayon just because we were in the area, a couple of friends recommend it so we went. What an amazing surprise! The food was phenomenal, the services was outstanding, the restaurant was cozy and romantic and the bread pudding was nothing short of "to die for", so next time you want to go for a... More

After lots of research decided to give canyon a try on a recent trip to Fort Lauderdale. Arrived just after opening on a monday evening so had no wait time and was seated in a cute booth immediately. Our server was friendly and when asked gave lots of info on the various dishes on the menu. Had a couple of... More

Love every item I've tried on the menu. If you arrive much after they open you will have a wait. The prickly pear margaritas are a specialty, and are delicious and fun. A perfect place to take guests to the area.

Upon doing research for good margaritas in Fort Lauderdale, I was compelled by the reviews on Trip Advisor and the photos on the restaurant. We called the restaurant to ask about dress code and reservations which surprisingly there was not a strict dress code as I thought there would be by the looks of the restaurant from the photos on... Went last night for my Sisters Birthday. They do not take reservations so prepare to wait. It is Always busy. They set up our party of ten without a problem although the place is tiny. Food was as good as always. We had quite a few appetizers. I highly rec the calamari in a yummy sweet chili sauce. The macaroni... More

Often stop by before or after a movie at the Gateway. Small but busy bistro with great southwestern food. Good happy hour but always packed so get there early.

A must have is the Prickly Pair Margarita. Good food, not outrageously priced. Busy happy hour. However, happy hour prices are not in effect in you are seated at a table. Too bad cause we would have eaten there again.

Slightly off the main drag is this lovely restaurant. You can't reserve so we were expecting a wait, it was busy even on a Monday. However we were shown to a table immediately. Having read reviews we tried the prickly pear margarita and I think I'm addicted! The food and service were good. Well worth a visit.

The prickly pear margaritas are a must. It may be difficult to get a space at the bar or a table on choice nights, but the drinks and food are very worth it. I love their selection of unique quesadillas (duck, etc.).

My husband and I were told to check out this local restaurant during out Ft. Lauderdale vacation. I had an excellent lobster and avocado salad appetizer (which was enough of a meal for me). In addition, I ordered their manchego mac & cheese which was superb. My husband enjoyed his beef tenderloin burrito as well. Highly recommended.
