I was on a trip with my girlfriends for the weekend, and we all have a love for Thai food. The owner, John, was very knowledgeable about the ingredients and very friendly. We had the calamari for appetizers, which was so fresh and yummy. The panang curry was the best I've ever had. I got the mild since I prefer... More

We struggled to find good food in Daytona but this was a wee gem. The service was great, really quick & attentive without being over the top. The food was fresh and delicious. This was the best meal we ate in Daytona. Very grateful for the Tripadvisor reviews that recommended Zen Bistro.

We went here for dinner one night during our stay in Daytona Beach. It’s not directly on the beach, so we needed to drive. That’s quite alright, because it was good to get away. Zen Bistro promotes itself as offering authentic Thai food. This could be true, but I’m not sure if it’s really that much more authentic than those... More

I haven't had Thai food in quite a while and Pad Thai is always a favorite of mine. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai, was not the least bit disappointed. Bursting with flavor and portion size was just perfect for the price. I also had a sticky rice with mango. The mango was so juicy and sweet/fresh as well as... More

We wanted to try something new while on vacation, so we found Zen Bistro and gave it a shot! The staff was very knowledgeable about their menu. Being our first time, we didn't know anything about the food. Our waiter gave us tips and advice after we told him what we liked/didn't like. I ordered the pumpkin curry, which was... More

Although it is rather hard to find this small restaurant, it is certainly worthwile searching for. Friendly staff and excellent food, although take care you don't order a 'hot' meal if you don't like spicy. (Even medium dishes are already somewhat spicy, so just ask mild...)

The food is good. Not the best thai I have tasted, but good enough. They use too much spices and dishes gets too hot sometimes, which ruins the taste of the food. Their medium dish is more "hot", then "hot" dishes I had in Thailand. Service is good. Nothing exceptional, but I have no complaints about it neither. For lunch... More

Loved Zen Bistro. Went for the first time on my birthday but had been wanting to go, my fiancée had never had Thai and LOVED it, they explained things to him as a “first timer” and it was really busy and still had great service.. Will go back again and again.

I am posting this on Urban Spoon. I really could not believe what the manager John said to my coworker who I was having lunch with at Zen Bistro, on Wednesday, March 6, 2013. I could not verbalize this yesterday but I felt like he was accusing my coworker of "stealing." He really was. When he said some people come... More

A patient owner who takes your order after patiently explaining what you have ordered. Great food, value and taste. Don't miss it, if you are willing to explore different food.
