So we stopped in yesterday, in hopes that our experience would be better than our last. We started with Garlicky Mussels and Peel & Eat Shrimp. The shrimp were RUBBERY and BLAND. The mussels were average (the garlic broth is always good) Both my wife and I ordered Pots. I ordered a pot that came with a whole lobster, queen... More

I had not been to Joe's Crab Shack in quite some time, a few years, because of a previous bad experience. After a movie at the Imax we decided to walk across the street to Joe's Crab Shack to give it another chance. Our experience is so much like the last revue, "The food is very good. The service was... The food is very good. The service was a little shaky. It took a long time to get seated, during which i could see many open tables that needed to be bussed. 3 people and the manager were just chit chatting up front.

Went here to meet some friends. Not my choice. It smells like dead fish in front of the building so iI didn't have high hopes. Joes is a typical family chain seafood restaurant. Fried food and lots if noise is its specialty. They even have a clown making balloon animals for the kids. The food is blah. Either fried frozen... More

The food was okay, nothing to write home about though. The shrimp tasted over-cooked and the crab cakes didn't really have much flavor, and a bit too much filler for my liking. The spicy sauce though was a winner.

The commercial was driving me crazy, so I had to try it...what you ask...the Lobster Pot Pie I say, complete with the crab claw sticking out of the crust! ...and it was GOOD, very good as a matter of fact. I think the better deal are the Steam Pots, but the pot pie was novel and tasty. Service was good.... More

Good basic bar food with some good drinks. At he end of the waterfront so less crowded than the more popular places. Many TVs for the watching folks. Good value for your money!

Less expensive than Big fish Grill and a little noisier but still a good plasce to eat. Very casual and open. Worth a try.
