It's a small town feel cafe-diner place. Love that children love it. Lots of very young artist drawings hanging. Good prices and friendly. Home town feeling.

Been coming here for years. By far, the best diner in Ridgefield. Definitely a local spot, whether you are sitting at the counter or choose to sit at a booth. Love the Ham, Asparagus and Swiss omelette. Definitely must try!

I love diner food and the Early Bird certainly does it really well. They always have lots of specials, a homey atmosphere and good service. Breakfast lunch and dinner are served and everything I've had there was great.

If you like to eat out for breakfast, this is the place. If you like grits, this is the place. I order their grits with any of the fantastic omelet offerings or pancakes. While it is sometimes difficult to get in on a weekend for breakfast it is worth the wait. The food is perfectly prepared, adequate portion sizes and exceptionally reasonable prices. Some interesting menu options such as Pennsylvania Scrapple and some really ingenious stuffed pancakes.

Local hangout with solid food but very poor service. The young waitresses would prefer to focus their attention amoung themselves and the customers may have to wait. Don't try to get their attention as that may result in a surly comment.

I enjoy it every time whether it's breakfast or lunch. Good cooking with friendly service. The Summer Salad is delish and a meal.

I've eaten here a couple of times and each time the service and food is consistently good. Love the outdoor seating on a nice day! I would highly recommend the Italian Breakfast sandwich; which is sweet Italian sausage with roasted peppers, eggs and cheese pressed between fresh white bread. TASTY!
