I usually always eat at the southwest cafe for Saturday dinner, but today something happened that made me feel obliged to write a review. First off I arrived at around 7:00 and there was not many people there. I asked for a table close to the window, the waitress obliged and directed me to the table. I then ordered the...

Great tuna tacos with a spicy sause ! The tuna is very fresh and very tasty. Virtially all your favorite Mexican/Southwestern selections are on the menue. The service is excellent with great attention to your food and drink needs. The only drawback is.....it is very small and at times, noisy. Outdoor seating is available only during the warmer months.
This has always been one of my favorite restaurants in town with a very nice lady at the helm Barbara Nevins! The food is absolutely Deliious and consistent. You can have your Southwest favorites and a few other very gourmet and weight conscious choices. The staff is always so kind and only there to make your day!
Been going to this place occasionally for 25 years. The food is better now, but it is not exceptional Mexican. But for a suburban CT town, it is just fine, thanks! Southwest Cafe is a charming little restaurant that feels just like New Mexico. Interesting art and artifacts. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced. The butternut squash soup is particularly good with a sweet flavor and nice consistency. Their chicken mango enchiladas, salmon fajitas, and flat iron steak fajitas are my favorites. A very nice place for lunch or dinner....

I absolutely love this restaurant! The manager, Trish is a gem - the waitstaff are a pleasure and very curtious. Margaritas are wonderful and of course, so is the food. A must while in Ridgefield.
I like this place! A cozy little place, the decor is authenticly New Mexican. I lived in Colorado, Arizona, & New Mexico for 17 years & Southwest Cafe reminds me of Santa Fe. The food is mostly Mexican, but they bring in real Hatch chiles from New Mexico once a year. If you know about fire-roasted Hatch chiles then you...

Such a fantastic lunch spot in Ridgefield in the warmer months. They have this little outdoor patio that you can sit at which is perfect! Their salads are fantastic! The inside is decorated very nicely! It is a little dark inside for lunch but the food makes it worth it!
Southwest Cafe is a nice little cozy cafe in Ridgefield, with good food and drinks. There is also an outdoor seating area, where it is fun to sit in the good weather.
