Been hear several times, although the typical burger platter with fries I think is quite pricey,. well over $10. They make everything fresh, the minestrone soup is very good, but price these days means a lot.

From breakfasts to burgers, the Shady Glen has the best bang for your buck. The ambiance is like a blast from the past. Get there early, as this place is popular especially on the weekends. The service is fast and courteous, and you can't beat the prices. Try the cheeseburgers!

Had to go for the cheeseburger as seen on TV. The bun was standard, the burger nothing special but the fried cheese was great. Outstanding waitresses who obviously love their jobs (particularly after the lunch rush).

Every time we are visiting family in Vernon we stop at the Shady Glen, this last time for breakfast. It was very good, just as expected.

When in the Manchester area - I head to the Glen for at least one cheeseburger - and they do not disappoint.
