Fried clams were excellent, popcorn chicken for the kids was completely demolished. Great view of the water.

Costello's is listed in Groton, but it's closer to Mystic, and actually in Noank, CT. It's virtually next door to Abbott's, and equally hard to find; but if you follow the signs to Abbott's and continue on another 100 yards, you're there. (They share ownership -- Costello's serves potato chips in Abbott's bags) We're told Costello's slightly cheaper than Abbott's,... More

We come to Costello's every year! We love their hot lobster rolls and clam fritters. Love that is it BYOB also and bring a bottle of wine. Only down fall is that they need high chairs! My daughter had no where to sit :(

Tucked away near a shipyard. Delicious lobster bisque. Fried shrimp, shoestring fries, and homemade coleslaw was very good. Peaceful New England clam shack. A must go.

My husband and I had gone to Misquamicut for the day and wanted to stop for a dinner of fresh seafood on our way home. We just drove to Mystic and then on from there and ended up here. It wasn't bad. We got whole belly clams, the mussels in wine and garlic, onion rings and some chowder(broth-not cream). The... More

Enjoyed the upper deck looking out on the harbor while feasting on the above mentioned seafood along with a 6 pack of Sam Adams. All good quality and reasonably priced. Least favorite item was the steamer whole belly clams. A bit chewy and expensive for what they were. Overall highly recommended clam shack.
