Slight step above tgi Fridays. Rubbery overpriced steaks and slow service. We would not return or recommend.

WOW really awful service- food is good but strange way for a nice restaurant not to be more aware of the lack of urgency!

Prior to this evening, I had only had lunch here. At that time, the food was good - not unusual, but quite pricey for what we ordered and for the portion size. (I never complain about portion size!) Tonight, we tried to have dinner with 5 and were told it would be a 20 minute wait. Awesome for a Sat.... More

Dont get me wrong, the food was tasty. My steak was cooked well. But the menu was Unimaginative and boring. Everything was served a la carte so I felt this made it overpriced. We had dinner at 6pm on Sat night and they were already sold out of 2 different steak entrees. It is simple American non fussy food. Atmosphere... More

A few of us went for dinner and drinks. Our server was kinda fast and we could not understand him due to his accent. He just did not speak to good.. we thought he said his name Rabron...he went over specials which was nice, very into it but could not understand him. Next the food, soup not hot and the... More

Our favorite place to have Sunday brunch, however I have always had a very good meal at this very pleasant resturant.

After a diet of chicken wings, burgers and pizza over the past two weeks plus on the road, we were looking for something that was a bit more up-market without going to silver service. This restaurant has a bar and does meals at the bar as well as a good restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and decor. We went there... More

We were travelling up the coast from New Jersey and stumbled upon this fine establishment by sheer desperation. We were looking for a place that looked like it might be infant/child/high chair friendly, and it was 6:30 on a Friday night so we were expecting to have to wait awhile to be seated. When we were greeted warmly by the... More

Taking in a concert in Fairfield we strolled the nearby streets to find dinner. The last time we attended a concert at the Fairfield Theatre Company we tried a different restaurant in town that did not merit a return so we selected the Old Post Tavern. Upon entering this nicely appointed pub/restaurant we were welcomed by the very pleasant and... More

We frequent Old Post Tavern, and always have a good meal. The food is consistently fresh and well presented. The staff never keeps you waiting.. "Ramom" is so accommodating. Thursday evenings about 8:00pm they have live music. A really versitile band..."Mustard Seed Magic"...Stephanie has an amazing voice, and so versitile. This is a real fun night out and we always...
