Ate lunch here during a ski trip to Vail. Ii is a small place with a few table indoors and some outdoors, but the sandwiches and soups are delicious, especially their vegetarian sandwiches. We will definitely have lunch there when we ski Vail.
We had a nice quick reasonably-priced lunch here on our 1st day at Vail. Arrived at 1120amish, so no crowds. My turkey pesto panini was excellent, as was my husband's roast beef, with generous portion sizes. Service was quick. We will eat here again.
Had lunch here today. It was all a bit 'random', but when the food arrived (and it was pretty quick), it was absolutely stunning. A really great combination of meats and salads that tasted superb. Also had a great coffee which is harder to find in vail than I would have expected.
Sept 4th was Gourmet on Gore in Vail. Lots of restaurants on the street, selling their "wares". Big Bear was one of the "favorites" with people lined up to sample the tomato, mozzarella, pesto panini sandwich. The best value on the street. Delicious. Keep up the good work!
This isn't your average sandwich shop, they have put a lot of thought into their menu. Really good eats and they carry local brews...always fun to discover a new Ale.
