Overall pretty good, albeit a little expensive for what you get. The filet mignon was not cooked evenly (ordered medium and it was well done in parts). Salads were good, wine bar is great.

This restaurant is absolutely wonderful and likely surpasses the best NYC steakhouses that I've eaten in. Low-key, but extremely attentive staff makes it a comfortable place for friends and families alike. Went with my wife on 5-18-13 for the first time and can go on-and-on-. Warmly greeted, extensive wine selection, soup, salad and steaks done to perfection. Desert was amazing...

The New Sheridan Chop House in Telluride, Colorado has a good menu and a great atmosphere. Unfortunately I am on a gluten free diet and was met with resistance and rudeness for the two times I have tried the restaurant.
During my first visit I ate dinner at the bar. The bartender checked with the kitchen to find out what...

Loved the menu choices. From Elk steaks to 30 day dry aged Bison. Had great service, drinks and food. Very historic sheridan building with the dining side having been restored. The bar side has been left 90% original according to the bartender. We would love to go back.
We were in for dinner on 3-19-13. We have eaten here many other times and have never been disappointed. On this night I had the elk loin, which was perfectly cooked and delicious, my husband had a NY strip, also perfect. The other couple dining with us had a filet and the bison, both of which were cooked perfectly and...

Had a great burger here and my husband had the bison which was delicious. A little pricey for meals but a good place to stop in for a drink as well. Also check out the bar next door.
We had a really nice dinner at the Chop House. The place is pretty and the service was great. We decided to split one of the 20oz Bone In Ribeyes & added a lobster tail to it so we could try a few other things on the menu and not be overstuffed. That was a great way to go! The...

The Chop House certainly could rest on its historic building and elegant dining room for patrons in the charming town of Telluride, but it doesn't; in fact, we so enjoyed our experience we went back repeatedly. Ray Farnworth, the hotel's GM does a remarkable job in ensuring that the experience and the food are spot on. Steaks are the main...

Our party of four really enjoyed this restaurant. While nothing was blow your socks off great, everything was very good and service was very acceptable for a ski town place. Wine list was good, but too heavy on the big price labels and not entirely accurate with their current stock on hand. We skipped dessert. No complaints, and we all...

Dinner at the New Sheridan was flawless. The great Western feel of the place was matched by competent service and, hands down, the best elk I have ever had. They are known locally for the best prepared game in town and they didn't disappoint. My kids had the salmon and they thought that was excellent. I can't remember what my...
