Don't let the looks of this place keep you from trying them out. The service was very good and the staff are very knowledgeable about food concerns (gluten free, vegan, vegetarian). The menu changes based on what veggies are in season in their garden. The food is made fresh so there is not a HUGE selection to choose from compared... More

Kind of a sleeper that should have a lot more attention than it gets, considering just how good it is. It's pleasant and cozy, on the river and in the summer you can dine under a giant tree and have Heirloom beet salads with pecans and exotic small farm goat cheeses. Beautiful.

First note that there are two listings here on Trip Advisor for the same place. Cafe Sweet Pea and the Market and Restaurant are the same place. In the summer they have an outdoor organic "farmers market" next door. This was my second visit this winter, and I reviewed the delicious soup and salad dinner I had then on the... More

My wife & I went to the Sweet Pea on a weeknight, expecting better than a casual dining experience. We were severely disappointed. When the server asked for our order, we asked about specials, and she could not give an accurate description of how the food would be prepared or what was included with the main course. My wife asked... More

Ate at the Sweet pea last week and i have to say it was very good. The pulled chicken noodle dish was fantastic, and everything else i tried from our groups meal was excellent. i thought everything was very reasonably priced. Our only complaint about the whole meal was that there wasn't a larger list of wines to choose from,... More

Once again I was lucky enough to spend some wonderful time in Steamboat Springs. While there we had dinner at Sweet Pea. If you are looking for the best meal in town with the ski town ambiance this is where to go. The inside dining is what you long for in a ski town like Steamboat. The food is delicious... More

This was a nice restaurant in town on a back street. The food and service was great. The menu was very limited for kids, vegetarians and vegan diets.

My sister and I had lunch here after reading reviews on TripAdvisor, and it was everything we expected and then some. My sister had the Trifeca--three assorted salads from the menu--and I had the hot roast turkey sandwich with Brie and cranberry sauce. The servings were so gorgeous we photographed the table, and the flavor of the meals--including the amazing... More

We needed a day off from skiing today, and after meandering around lovely Steamboat today, we nestled into this lovely, cozy spot for lunch. It was really delightful! The owners were welcoming, engaging, and fun, and the food was scrumptious. We loved it & will be back! It was fun to face the "other" ski mountain here where ski jumping... More

My husband and I returned in the winter. The room was cozy, fun and inviting. The food was varied and interesting, with lots of gluten free options. GF bread was now only $1 extra which I will accept since I know it costs more and probably doesn't get used up as quickly. Still needed to remind our waitress I needed... More
