I love seafood! I ordered the fried oysters and they were awful!! Huge with green stuff coming out! Not sure where they came from. The server was nice but the service was not great! Seemed dirty to me.

Food was OK, service fine, would not go back. Chicken Fried Steak was bad. Gumbo good we were only people in the place
I went here reluctantly, since I don't like seafood. Most of the entrees were spicy cajun or seafood, so I ordered the Chicken fried steak. It was a huge serving but it was terrible. The steak was tough. The breading had a burnt greasy taste and the gravy was tasteless despite the sausage in it. The potatos were just boiled...

Liked the reviews I read but disappoint in the restaurant. I should have know something was wrong when I went there on a Saturday evening and one couple in the place and one more as we were leaving. No room for desert, however the key lime pie and bread pudding are delicious. Theamed drink specials are...

Visited during spring break. Had to cram 5 of us into a table for 4, but food was very good. I had a Cuban snapper special that came with black beans and rice. Was excelent. My wife had the ravioli, which was good but not great. Kids all enjoyed their meals - fried fish and fried shrimp with fries.
I ordered a seafood soup that was pretty tasty with lots of seafood not just juice. My wife ordered a fried fish plate that was ok. Being from the third coast we are used to fresher seafood, then again we were in the Colorado mountains.
We have been to New Orleans several times, and "The Shark" is every bit as good!!! Have AWESOME seafood gumbo.... great PoBoys for lunch, but should offer them on their dinner menu. For sure....don't miss "The Shark" if you are in town.
The food is good, the service really friendly, and the atmosphere very relaxed and comfortable. And it's fun to sit in a tropical setting with snow falling outside!
the Chivalrous Shark is a fun place to eat! The owners are fun and friendly, the locals outstanding, and the atmosphere is pure Jimmy Buffet!
