After we slogged through dozens of souvenir shops in Manitou Springs, the Dining Room at the Cliff House Hotel provided an elegant change of scenery. Late in the afternoon, we stopped by to make a dinner reservation, then spent an hour enjoying the mountain view from the hotel veranda. In the dining room, we found the food, the service, and... The food had good taste and presentation. However, the custard desert was bad due to the server not able to burn all the alcohol and therefore it was bitter and uneatable. The room ambient was co cold that everyone in that room had to put on their jackets. Management did try to remedy with a portable heater but did not... More

I have been going to the Cliffhouse on and off since it opened. I have always loved it and believe that its very existence improves the community. A wonderful menu and amazing wine list make the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Lovely old hotel now a bed and breakfast right in the heart of historic Manitou Springs, Colorado. Breakfast buffet was varied and all you can eat. Regular menu contained speciality items. The dining room has wonderful period atmosphere. Our service was spotty that day and we felt a little overlooked. Still we had a nice family visit with plenty of... More

Awesome food and service. We had a fabulous meal, and it made our evening very special. We sat in a small snug area with a very realistic gas fire, the waiter was very attentive, and the food was amazing. I would love to visit again some day

Atayed at the Hotel for a few evenings, and the breakfast was included in the room. With a Chef-driven advertising program, I expected the menu and food to live up to the expectation of great things. There was fresh fruit, the obligatory pastries, pre-packaged oatmeal and yogurt like Days Inn, scrambled eggs with toppings, and packaged biscuits and gravy -... More

Loved the ambience of this place. The architecture is so quaint and historic. The service staff was very attentive to our small party. I had the mixed seafood dish, fruits de mer, and it was good but lacking interest, flavor, and creativity. The rest of the table raved about the steaks so I would recommend you go that route instead.... More

We have eaten at the Cliff House a number of times, including out on the porch in the winter (we had our dog with us - it's a long story). The food has always been wonderful and the service good. We have had seafood, steaks, elk and lamb for entrees and all have been very well-prepared. It is our favorite... More
