We had enjoyed a spectacular meal at the DTC restaurant, but were unable to return there during our trip due to solid reservation bookings. So, we decided to try the downtown location and were a bit disappointed. The service was merely adequate, ambiance less than inviting and the food was not nearly as delicious. I would suggest making the drive... More

Southeast "Denver" restaurant. Sophisticated Italian. Nice ambiance. Ample portions. Courteous, knowledgeable staff. Excellent food, and wine list. If you don't see it on the menu, ASK. Very accommodating. More often than not we end up here or sister restaurant, Chianti (less formal atmosphere, same great food) when we want to have a quality meal or entertain out of town guests.

Our birthday group was so looking froward to returning to Venice for a great birthday dinner. We were all mystified by the slow inattentive service and the $24.00 charge for water. (This is not Venice, Italy) The restaurant was not that busy and our party was not that large (9 of us), although we enjoyed all the time to visit... More

If you're stuck in the 'burbs of Denver, this place may seem fab. If you've got options, avoid this restaurant. Caesar salad was a complete misnomer served in a kitchy "basket" fashioned from parmesan cheese. If you're into cute, you'll feel like you've been treated to something special. If you're into flavor: there ain't none. Chicken with artichokes: meh. Profiterole:... More

My husband and I went here this past weekend on a recommendation. Well worth the trip downtown, food was excellent, service was excellent. We were looking for GOOD Italian food and we found it here. I cannot tell you the last time I did not have one complaint about a restaurant. The cheese tray was enough for 4 people. The... More

My daughter and I took a quick trip to Denver to find her an apt. While there we wanted a nice relaxing dinner. We looked up restaurants in Trip Advisory of course and found this gem. Not the typical Italian we expected. Atmosphere was very close to my past trip to Venice. I ordered the salmon and it was great.... More

My husband was able to order his favorite pasta, Pasta Puttanesca, even though it wasn't on the menu.

Arrived at about 8:40pm, and the restaurant was too noisy to carry on a conversation. Food was pretty good. They served pasta with our meal, which was not part of the menu. Then we realized that they had not served us any vegetables, as promised on the menu.

Had a fabulous dinner last night at Venice Ristorante and Wine Bar. Our group of nine received attentive, excellent service and exquisite food. So happy that we found this wonderful place. We'll be back often.
