This place wasn't worth visiting. The food was bland and only luke warm and was nothing like Indian fould should be like. The picture above is absolutely not the restaurant, I wish it would have looked as nice, but it's actually a bit shabby, so don't be deceived. The portions were huge, so if that's what you're looking for, you'd... More

Garbage. This Indian Restaurant is truly dreadful. Do not eat here. I picked this restaurant as it was a two minute walk from the hotel I was staying in. But it's awful. The restaurant is shabby. The food was appalling. I'm from the UK where Indian food and restaurants are part of our daily way off life now. The food... More

Not sure where they got the photo above from - it certainly isn't this restaurant! Went here before going to the cinema. Both of us had thalis - one veggy and one meat. Food was okay except for the gulab jamun which was cold and in slightly sugary water which did not add to it's appeal. Plenty of food though... More

Had the veg thali which was lots of food and tasted just as good for lunches over the nest 2 days. Not the best indian food I have had, but far from the worst. I will point out that the picture shown on here is NOT this restaurant. It is much uglier inside.

Mediocre ambiance, not a date night place. Service was very good , friendly and prompt. I ordered, what I think of as the benchmark of Indian cuisine, Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan, Raita and added Bombay Aloo. The naan was good, the chicken was overcooked and seemed like it had just been reheated in the sauce. The Bombay aloo tasted like they... More

very poor buffet...the veg items were all just boiled veggies dunked in colored tasteless watery gravy. the dessert gulab jamun was a lump of uncooked flour in sugar syrup. going by the looks of the other guests, even the non veg items seemed to be no better. avoid.

I don't visit Denver nearly enough to satisfy my craving for the tandoori rack of lamb at Royal India. The meat is cooked perfectly and the seasoning is excellent. The saag paneer, dipping sauces and naan are all delicious.

We arrived about 5 minutes before the end of lunch (2:55 pm) but were welcomed. The Buffet ($8.99) was still fresh and varied -- Chicken tandoori. Chicken masala & curry choices. Chickpeas, saag paneer (spinach), raita and more. Ignore the strip mall location and enjoy.

I used to live in Denver and have ate at Royal India several times for dinner. However, it has been a couple of years since I last ate there and never for lunch. The buffet was somewhat limited in selection and the food was rather bland. I expect my Indian food to be flavorful, rich and sometimes spicy. The tandoori... More

Have passed by many times, but never stopped to eat until today. We were early, but lunch buffet was open and ready. Plenty of free parking in lot. Quiet and very pleasant atmosphere. I enjoyed the many vegetarian items on the buffet. My lunch guest enjoyed chicken, as well, and said it was tasty. Spinach (saag paneer) was good and... More
