Enjoy a simple setting with great food. The best place with very friendly people. food was hot, fantastic, and priced for a person with a budget. Cannot wait till our return.

I ordered the Calamari which was dressed with picked peppers and capers, it was the best Calamari I have ever eaten...I am not a fan of the ambiance though. I have been there twice and felt "exposed", cozy not in a good way.
The restaurant is situated on the corner of the heart of Old Colorado City and has great people watching opportunities. The food was very good and I had no complaints. The thing that made this place was the attentiveness of the waitstaff and the wine selections which were easily paired with the menu items. The charm of the restaurant is...

Tucked away at the west end of Colorado Ave about a block from all the noise sits a local Italian Restaurant. Our waiter Dan could not have been better. Though very attentive he never overwhelmed us and kept the pace relaxed. My husband and I split a salad and Chicken Marsala and their WONDERFUL parfait made with biscottis, ice cream,...

Love this place! If I had closed my eyes I could have been in Italy! (We lived in northern Italy for 2+years). The bread was incredible but the food was simply AMAZING! The wait staff was efficient and friendly and our reservations--which we made on line--we're ready and waiting for us!
Good food good serviceI'm not a connoiseur, but it fulfilled my expectations and beyond. Very nice staff.
Start with a funky neighborhood, adequate parking, an old building with character. Add interior design (or, perhaps, lack of interior design) than includes mug shots of Frank Sinatra and family vacation pictures of Italy, a rambling bunch of rooms, and a cozy outdoor patio. Nice cozy atmosphere for an Italian restuarant. Owner/manager/host appears to be a little into himself. We had a dinner for two on an early Saturday evening. The menu was extensive. The two meals were delicious. The chicken parmesan was a very large plate - enough for two. Portions of both orders were taken home. Service was good.
We used to love this place but it went downhill and we won't give it another chance. The last time we were there, the food was awful, the service was like a kick in the teeth and then we all felt terrible when we got home.
I certainly don't get the favorable reviews for this place. It is the worse Italian food in Colorado Springs, plus you have to endure the loud amospehere while you are choking down your food. There is nothing fresh tasting here, al Fresco....foget about it.
