This bar has a lively atmosphere, lengthy beer list and plenty of televisions. Perfect for a laid-back afternoon of watching football or taking a break from walking.
We started with the brown ale and one red ale. Next- a cup of excellent minestrone. Tried the blue cheese bacon cheeseburger and the haselnut crusted chicken with white cheddar mash. Everything was delicious. Service and atmosphere great as well.
The group of people I was with decided they were hungry so we looked up to see what we were in front of and said ok lets give it a shot. I had the Chicken Mac'n Cheese. Large porportion, too large for me to eat so everyone at the table helped me out. They loved it as well. They, the... More
Thoroughly enjoyed the chicken avocado sandwich and the blueberry wheat beer. Great historic location (former appliance store) in downtown Boulder, a block off famous Pearl Street. During happy hour the beer prices are an especially great deal.
My sister and I travelled to Colorado for our 1st Beercation. We chose to visit Walnut Brewery on the suggestion of friends who live in Boulder. The decor was eclectic and I enjoyed the open floor plan. The resturant was clean and organized. We ordered the Walnut Brewery flights and they were delicious. I love trying new beers and thought... The Walnut is one of our favorite places in Boulder and no matter who is on our party, everyone is happy when we visit. The Sunday brunch is very well done, as well as all the food all of the time. I really like the Mac & Cheese as well as most items on the menu. The beer is very... More
Wonderful little brewery located off Pearl Street. We had an early dinner with no wait time. The veggie burgers were some of the best we have ever had. The Laredo burger came with guacamole, pico, and a chipotle mayo that was very tasty. The buns were fresh, buttered and toasted. We also tried the slaw, which was a unique mix... More
We're from out of town and were looking for a good place to eat. A local recommended this spot and we're glad he did. Good craft beer for those who partake in such. A good menu with a range of food to choose from. The hamburgers were juicy with excellent buns and sides. Good appetizers as well. A good solid... More
I returned here after moving away 14 years ago. Perhaps the nostalgia was getting in the way, or the mid-week/mid-afternoon visit, but the place didn't have the same fresh vibe. Like some other reviews, the wait staff affected our experience - waiting for a drink refill and then later waiting for the check had us watching no fewer than 5... More
