The food was incredible! The service was great! To make it all better, it was 1/2 during Happy Hour! Well worth the visit!
We were nine people and had a great time at Hapa. We ordered some udon soup and several rolls: dragon, #9, California, etc. We also had some salmon sashimi. It was all delicious. Service was great!
Fun atmosphere, good sake, sushi ! Small, so you might have to wait awhile to sit down! Enjoy their hand rolls, and sashimi was fresh, and tasty. Pricey, but what sushi bar is not? A must if in Boulder!
I guess I am one of the rare people who does not enjoy sushi...my friends love it though and wanted to take me to Hapa. I order something kind of baked Sushi and was pleased. The Yakiniku beef entree was disappointing as the meat was very tough and not flavorful. Everyone else at the table LOVED their sushi. I do... More

This one just happens to be close to my last job.. great happy hour specials. They have great sushi. Always fresh, well made, I've never been sick- so that's always a good sign. Love the decor. The atmosphere is always upbeat.. You can find some traditional Japanese style sushi, but you will also find Hapa's unique sushi inventions like the... More
This is our favorite sushi place simply because we can come here any day of the week before 5:30 and get THE best value on good sushi. My husband and I order four rolls - yummy ones, like salmon and avocado, two bowls of miso soup, green tea and one half-price appetizer of Gyoza and our total bill (before tip)... More
Sat at the sushi bar solo last night. Service was prompt and the sushi was very fresh and tasty. Had your basic salmon roll, some fairly good Shumai and some tuna sashimi. All in all very good and felt taken care of. The downside, is that as others have commented on, it is a bit pricy.
This is a good place to eat sushi. Their happy hour is pretty awesome if you are looking for good cheap sushi. The past 2 times I have been the staff has been a little slower and not as attentive as I would like and it was not because they were swamped. Overall the food is good and the staff... More
Hapa is always a good place to stop for a quick sushi fix when walking around the Pearl Street Mall. Friendly service and very good food. The pieces are pretty fresh for being so far from the ocean. Good miso soup. Tasty rolls!
