A very nice pizza restaurant in Boulder with a huge selection of beers on tap. We enjoyed a very good garden specialty pizza. Customer service was excellent.
We arrived to Boulder on 12 September during the rain/flooding and Backcountry Pizza was our first stop. The staff was very friendly and informative, the beer selection was excellent and the pizza was great as well!! Our server did a great job of recommending certain beers based on our likes/dislikes and the selection was amazing. Will definitely go back when... More
Attracted by beer selection and returned again due to good service and overall pleasant atmosphere. Informed staff and wide variety of beers on tap, made for a pleasant experience. Wide variety of seating areas from front bar to larger dining area in the back.
Started our visit to Boulder at Backcountry Pizza and Tap House. Advertised as the "most taps" in Boulder and they do seem to live up to the billing. Better yet, the taps are well curated. I had excellent drafts of Green Flash Founders Linchpin and The Bruery Trade Winds Tripel. With good beer as a start, we started with an... More
Our waiter (who was also the manager) was very knowledgeable about his beer selection and had his finger on the beer pulse of Boulder. Everything was delicious from the spinach artichoke dip to the Beef Bourguignon. This menu is so much more diverse and extensive than their sister restaurant in Nederland; hard to believe it is owned by the same... More
This place is an excellent place to grab a beer with friends after work or just at the end if your day. With 50+ beers on tap, everyone will be able to find something they enjoy. The food is fine - best to go for happy hour as appetizers are half off and beer is $1 off - but don't... More
this place has the best beer selections, rotating drafts, craft beers etc. Pizza is the best in town. The atmosphere is awesome too. I've had good and bad service before. Its usually crowded on weekends so prepare to wait for a seat on peak hours.
They have 50 beers on tap, and not a single tap is wasted on the likes of bud light or coors. (If you want one of the mass produced beers you'll have to take it in a bottle.) The beer selection is the best in town, and among the best I've ever seen. If you are a beer connoisseur, (or... More
My husband and I went here on a Sundayfor lunch after doing some running around. We had originally planned on a couple beers and a pizza, but the lunch burger special caught his eye so we went with burgers. The beer menu is great - nice selection of static drafts and a second page of rotating drafts. Very nice staff,... More
