After we took the we got back from SF on the Ferry, we just wanted something light for dinner and Ginza was the ticket. My wife had the ramen with sliced pork while I had the garlic beef with soba noodles. Both were delicious and the service was very good. We were too full to try any sushi so I... More

After a dozen attempts, wildly inconsistent, and really bad fish. Staff is wonderfully smiley, and nice.... but it's not even an option anymore. We actually drive all the way out to Robata to get mid range sushi at a better price, better service, more options, and better product. Tiburon downtown is having problems. I hate to negatively review... but maybe... More

Order the Dragon Roll. Then tell me you've ever, anywhere (Tokyo included) had a sushi roll that was prettier or tastier. You'd be lying. Great soup. Warm sake. Attentive service. Endless other dishes to savor, this place takes its sushi seriously. It happens to have the best view on Main Street Tiburon as well. So, take your sweetie and go... More

GINZA Sushi is located off of scenic Main Street in Downtown, Tiburon. The atmosphere and view of the city is fantastic. The restaurant is situated on the waters edge overlooking the San Francisco Yacht Club and the city sky line. The service was promote, attentive, and very friendly. I started with a 2007 BR Cohn, Silver Label, which they serve... More

My 10-year-old was craving sushi and we had an hour to kill before the movie started at the cinema across the street. We were happy to find Ginza. We ordered simply and everything was fresh and good. My only complaint is the green salad which was very expensive but was very small, with few interesting vegetables, and was under-dressed. The... More

We watched this property next to the Tibuon Yacht Club sit vacant for several years and were thrilled when the new tennant arrived. Our first visit was this month and, quite frankly, we were not thrilled. Setting on the water is fun but the food was marginal. Our deep fried calamari looked strange and tasted rubbery. I can't even remember... More

Tiburon is mainly noted for Sam's Anchor Cafe and the famous Ramos Fizz, so what is a sushi place doing on Main street? We stumbled on the place quite by accident with the result that we now have the obligatory Fizz at Sam's and then head for Ginza. It's on the water and everything is up to the highest sushi... More

Don't miss this choice at the end of main street. I have been to many sushi restaurants around the world and this is a relatively good one. Atmosphere is a bit lacking but the fish is fresh and delicious. Definitely give it a try, especially if you're a local.
